.SYNOPSIS...
An upper level disturbance will lead to the potential for a few
light rain showers today. High pressure and a drier airmass will
build into the region through the first part of the upcoming week.

.NEAR TERM /THROUGH TODAY/...
An upper level trough axis will pivot east across our area through
this afternoon as a cold front continues to shift off to our
southeast. This will result in the potential for some light shower
activity, especially across the southeast half of our area this
morning. Any pcpn should taper off heading into this afternoon as the
trough axis moves through. Temperatures will be seasonably cool with
afternoon highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

.SHORT TERM /TONIGHT THROUGH 6 PM SUNDAY/...
Surface high pressure and a drier airmass will build into the region
tonight into Sunday. This will lead to continued cool conditions.
Lows tonight will be in the 40s with highs on Sunday in the 70 to 75
degree range.

.LONG TERM /SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY/...
A dry forecast is in store for the region as high pressure prevails
over the Ohio Valley.
After a cool start with highs in the 70s Mon and lows in the 40s
Sun/Mon nights, temperatures will warm to the higher end of normal
for highs and the lower end of normal for lows for the remainder of
the forecast period. The warmest day will be Thurs with morning lows
in the mid-upper 50s and daytime highs in the lower 80s, some mid
80s over ne KY and eastern CWA south of Columbus.

.AVIATION /04Z SATURDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY/...
Mid level clouds and some light showers will be possible across the
region through the morning hours. Otherwise, high pressure and a
drier airmass will build in from the northwest later today and into
tonight. VFR conditions will prevail through the period.
