Breezy west to southwest winds through this morning, then ease in
the afternoon. These breezy winds combined with low RH are
promoting Elevated Fire Weather conditions across the northeastern
Sierra foothills and northern Sacramento Valley. Winds shift to
north and increase again tonight into Saturday AM across the
northern Sacramento Valley and mountains, then gusty west winds
over the mountains on Sunday, followed by breezy north to east
winds in the Sacramento Valley Monday-Tuesday. These breezy to
gusty winds and prevailing dry conditions will result in
additional periods of Elevated Fire Weather Conditions.
