One more warm day is on tap for today featuring high temperatures
in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees. Cooler conditions return
to the region Monday behind a dry cold front expected to traverse
the Midsouth today. Highs Monday into next weekend should be
mostly in the 70s with noticeably lower humidity. No rain is
expected for the next seven days.

Early morning temperatures across the Midsouth are in the middle
60s to low 70s with light winds and clear skies. Dew points are
only 2-4 degrees lower than temperatures. As a result we are
seeing patchy fog developing. Will monitor conditions over the
next few hours for the need of a Dense Fog Advisory, but it
doesn`t appear any widespread impact is likely. Morning lows
should be in the middle 60s areawide.

A four-longwave Northern Hemispheric pattern will result in
fairly stable/unchanging conditions across the CONUS over the next
week or so. The exception will likely be in Florida where what is
likely to be Hurricane Milton is poised to impact a large portion
of the peninsula. No impact is expected in the Midsouth.

A cold front currently stretches across the Great Lakes, the
Midwest and into the Southern Plains. This front front will move
across the Midsouth late this evening resulting in a cooler and a
drier airmass across the region for the upcoming work week and
into the weekend. Moisture ahead of the front is near normal
featuring precipitable water values around 1 inch, but forcing
looks to be minimal with little no upper level support for lift.
As a result, no rain is expected. High temperatures tomorrow,
through the work week, and into the weekend should be in the
middle 70s to near 80 degrees with relative humidity in the 30 to
40 percent range. Our coolest morning looks to be Tuesday,
featuring lows in the middle 40s to low 50s across the region. No
rain is expected over the next seven days.

A pre-frontal trough will move through the Mid-South today,
shifting winds from the northwest at 5-6 kts. Winds will shift
again from the north-northeast this evening as the main cold front
moves across the area. Diurnal Cu around 5-6 kft AGL are expected
this afternoon and evening, but no precipitation is anticipated.
Drier air will move into the area this evening, precluding fog
development tonight.
