- Daily rains will produce on average one half to one inch of
  rainfall over the course of the new week. Best rain chances,
  including heavier rain chances, will be Tuesday and Friday.

- Weeklong temperatures will spend the majority of their time in
  the 60s at night and 70s during the day, though official high
  temperatures may reach toward or into the lower 80s briefly.

A sorta quasi negatively tilted Rex blocking high pattern
evolves over CONUS this week, with differing sensible wx impacts
here on day-to-day runs/trends. The latest ensemble blend
modeling keeps a wetter than normal pattern wrt daily pops,
however, overall week-long qpf ranges from only about a half
inch in our north to closer to 1 inch in our south, isolated
higher totals being possible. Most of the week will be spent
with temperatures in the 60s (nights) and 70s (days), though
daily highs might officially touch 80F or reach into the lower
80s briefly.

Ground fog may be a factor through the night tonight,
particularly at southern Illinois airfields but suspect it
spreads into parts of SEMO and western Kentucky as well. If mid
cloud clears out of EVV/OWB will be a factor there as well.

Quick improvement to VFR by daybreak for any spots that see fog
form up with moderate northeast winds through the day.
