An upper level ridge will slowly slide eastward through tomorrow
with an upper level low digging into the Pacific Northwest. Lee
troughing will allow breezy southelry winds to be felt across
western Kansas with some high clouds present through tomorrow
morning. A few afternoon thunderstorms will form across eastern
Colorado this afternoon but I believe that these storms should stay
out of our CWA. Highs today will reach into the upper 80s with some
places reaching around 90 degrees. Lows tonight will dip into the
mid 50s to around 60 degrees with highs tomorrow in the 80s.

The aforementioned upper level low will continue to dig into the
western Unites states and push the upper level ridge east of the
area. Pieces of energy will wrap around the periphery of this
feature and eject into the central Plains. This will bring an
increase in precipitation across the CWA. Precipitation chances
increase starting Tuesday night with the best chance of
precipitation Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning.
Precipitation chances are then confined across central Kansas
Thursday afternoon into Friday. Additional disturbances move through
the area this weekend bringing another chance of precipitation.
Future model runs will need to be watched to see what comes to
fruition. Otherwise, expect an increase in cloudiness as these
disturbances move through. As of now, SPC and AI models do not have
very high probabilities of these storms to be severe. As for
temperatures, highs will reach into the mid 70s to mid 80s Wednesday
and Thursday with 80s to around 90 degrees for the remainder of the
forecast. Lows will range from the upper 40s to mid 60s.

VFR conditions will prevail with some high clouds. Winds will
generally be form the south, gusting to over 25 knots late
morning into the afternoon.
