- Continued moderate northeast flow in Snake River plain means
  Lake Wind Advisory for American Falls Reservoir.

- Warming and drying starts today, with humidity reaching
  critically dry thresholds at most low elevations by Tuesday.

- Winds return Tuesday afternoon and continue through Wednesday
  afternoon, potentially causing critical fire weather
  conditions both days. Also have potential for wind advisories
  as well.

Expecting no impacts through Monday with northeast winds
diminishing this evening and mainly light winds tonight and
Monday. Will see warmer conditions Monday with highs reaching
the 70s mountains and 80s valleys and even warmer Tuesday with
low elevations around 90. The big impacts will come Tuesday
afternoon as winds are expected to increase significantly with
15 to 30 mph sustained and gusts 30 to 40 mph in the Eastern
Magic Valley and southern hills. On Wednesday expect the strong
winds in the same location and into the Snake River Plain with
the 15 to 30 mph sustained and 30 to 45 mph gusts continuing.
There is the potential for some wind advisories both Tuesday and
Wednesday in a few zones. It will be slightly cooler Wednesday
by about 5 degrees with highs ranging upper 60s to 70s mountains
and 80s lower elevations. Will see a significant decrease in
winds Thursday and Friday with no wind impacts expected. The
next chance for precipitation will be next weekend Saturday and
Sunday with the potential for some shower and thunderstorm
activity as an upper level system is currently projected to move
through Idaho.

VFR conditions will continue with some passing mid and high
level clouds. Some occasional gusts in the 15-20kt range are
possible at IDA, PIH, and BYI.

A warming and drying trend is setting up and will bring
afternoon humidity into the critical values below 15 percent as
early as today in western portions and by Tuesday everywhere at
the low elevations, save for the Targhee portion of the
Caribou-Targhee NF. An incoming low will kick up wind as early
as Tue afternoon and continue the strong wind Wed and Thu.
Critical fire weather conditions will be here as fuel moisture
continues to drop. Depending on how fast those reach critical
levels, then there may be Red Flag Warnings needed Wednesday and
Thursday.
