.PREVIOUS DISCUSSION...
Issued at 230 AM EST Sun Nov 24 2024

Current-Tonight...Clear skies, calm winds and a very dry airmass
will allow for optimal radiational cooling early this morning as
temperatures near sunrise will range from L-M40s across much of ECFL
and M40s to L50s for immediate Space/Treasure coasts and adjacent
barrier islands. This as surface high pressure settles across the
FL peninsula with associated weak pressure gradient. Temperatures
will rebound this afternoon into the L-M70s with light/variable
winds, perhaps becoming onshore along the Space/Treasure coasts in
the afternoon, but may still have trouble mustering 5-10 mph
speeds. Skies MSunny again today and MClear tonight with forecast
mins warmer than previous nights in the M-U40s, N/W of I-4, and
L50s southward to include coastal Volusia/north Brevard, with
M-U50s further south along the immediate south Brevard/Treasure
coasts and near 60F to L60s for barrier islands. This as LLVL
moisture begins to slowly return to the area.

Mon-Sun...Weak troughing in the mid-levels early in the period
across the FL peninsula will quickly become mainly zonal for the
remainder of the period. Weak surface high pressure will continue
across ECFL early in the week, ahead of a weak frontal boundary
that will move into north FL late Tue/Wed becoming diffuse,
followed by a stronger cold front that is now forecast to push
into/through central FL on Fri. This boundary will only have a
thin line of modest moisture associated with it and for now we
keep PoPs below mentionable for its passage, but will continue to
monitor. Post-frontal conditions late Fri into the weekend, with
weak high pressure moving back into the region with drier/cooler
conditions.

The warming trend started on Sun will continue with U70s to near 80F
(M70s Volusia coast Mon) for Mon-Wed and L80s on Thanksgiving Day.
With models pushing for a quicker frontal passage on Fri, temps may
struggle to 70F north of I-4 with L-M70s southward, except U70s
possible for the Treasure Coast as cooler air behind the front will
take extra time penetrating further southward. Mins in the 50s for
much of the interior with Fri morning the warmest U50s to L60s
areawide, then cooler again Sat-Sun morning`s when 40s return for
many, except some L-M50s closer towards the Space/Treasure coasts.
L60s gradually return E of I-95 by Thu-Fri morning`s ahead of the
front. Generally light/variable winds into early Thu, then S/SW
flow returns Thu/Thu night (pre-frontal), with winds veering NW/N
behind the boundary for Fri-Sat, and perhaps a bit more NNE/NE by
Sun.

.MARINE...
Issued at 230 AM EST Sun Nov 24 2024

Today-Thu...Mainly favorable boating conditions are forecast
through the period. However, hazardous conditions may develop near
inlets during the outgoing tide heading into early next week as
an increasing (ENE/NE) long period swell (12-14 seconds) is
forecast. Seas 2-3 ft this morning will continue to subside
becoming widely 1-2 ft tonight thru Wed, then 3-4 ft into Thu.
Weak surface high pressure will promote light and variable winds
across the waters each day. Dry conditions persist.

.AVIATION...
(12Z TAFs)
Issued at 616 AM EST Sun Nov 24 2024

SKC prevailing. Light and variable winds through the period, with
the exception of coastal areas from MLB southward, where a light
(7kts or less) sea breeze is forecast this afternoon (~17-0/1Z).
Light easterly flow looks to develop by Monday afternoon
