.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 136 PM EST Thu Nov 21 2024
A cold front continues to push southeast of Florida. Clearing
conditions over most of the state is apparent on the latest visible
satellite imagery with some residual clouds remaining over south
Florida. Strong high pressure builds in from the northwest and will
help filter in some drier and cooler air into the region with clear
skies expected overnight. This high pressure will remain the
dominant weather feature into the weekend. Mostly sunny skies, much
cooler temperatures and lower humidity can be expected through the
remainder of the week and into the weekend. Overnight lows tonight
will dip into the low to mid 40`s north to the mid 40`s to mid 50`s
central, south and coastal. The coldest nights will be Friday and
Saturday nights with widespread lows dipping into the 40`s and 50`s.
Some pockets of upper 30`s may be possible on Friday and Saturday
nights over the interior parts of the Nature Coast. Daytime highs
through Saturday will only reach the mid 60`s to low 70`s, then
slowly moderating closer to average by next Monday through the
middle of next week.
