Minor weather impacts over the next 7 days. Wind gusts on Sunday
will approach wind advisory Sunday northern Sacramento Valley.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon
and evening in the higher terrain south of Interstate 80.
Elsewhere dry conditions are expected. Temperatures will be very
warm Thursday and begin cooling on Friday with the coolest day on
Saturday. Light rain showers are expected Saturday with most areas
receiving less than a tenth of an inch. As the system exits the
area on Sunday...expect gusty winds up to 35 mph in the northern
Sacramento Valley and gusts 25 mph most other locations. Dry and
mild conditions are then expected into early next week.

NorCal. Northerly surface winds are expected to gust 15 to 20 kts
through the northern and central Sacramento Valley until 02Z
Thursday. Later this afternoon, west winds gusting up to 15 kts
will flow through the Delta 01Z to 11Z. Over the Sierra, north to
east winds will gust 15 to 25 kts from 05Z through 18Z Thursday.
Additionally, there is a 15-30% chance of isolated thunderstorms
over the Sierra mainly from I-80 southward.
