Generally dry weather is expected with temperatures trending well
above normal by late week. Areas of Moderate HeatRisk are expected
mid to late week, with widespread Major HeatRisk by Friday.
Elevated fire weather conditions are expected Friday and Saturday
with breezy winds, low afternoon humidity and marginal overnight
recovery.

 -Temperatures to fluctuate around near to slightly above normal,
  with areas of Minor HeatRisk.
 -Breezy onshore winds expected in the morning

* Tuesday - Thursday:
 -Warming trend this week, with areas of Moderate HeatRisk
  expected in the Valley.
 -Probability of Valley high temperatures > 95F:
  --Tuesday & Thursday: 40-70%, northern/central Sacramento Valley.
 -Periods of breezy winds and low humidity could bring elevated
  fire weather conditions.

* Friday - Saturday:
 -Potential for triple digit heat in the Valley late this week
  with near to record high temperatures by Friday.
 -Areas of Moderate HeatRisk in the Valley, foothills and
  mountains. Areas of Major HeatRisk in the Valley by Friday.
 -Probability of Valley high temperatures > 100F:
  --Friday: 45-90%, highest north of Interstate 80.
  --Saturday: 45-85%, highest away from Delta breeze influenced
   areas.
 -Limited overnight relief expected late next week across the
  northern/central Sacramento and northern San Joaquin valleys.
 -Probability of Valley low temperatures Friday night > 65F:
  50-95%, highest north of I-80.
 -Hot temperatures along with very low humidity and periodically
  breezy winds could lead to elevated fire weather conditions.
 -Slight, 5-15%, chance of isolated mountain showers/thunderstorms
  Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

.Changes from previous forecast...
 -Extreme Heat Watch Friday 11 am to Saturday 8 pm
 -Shower/thunderstorm chances over the mountains Wednesday have
  diminished.

.AVIATION...
VFR conditions expected to prevail next 24 hours. Breezy
northwesterly winds are expected to gust 15 to 25 kts in the
Northern San Joaquin Valley. Over the mountains, west to
southwesterly winds will gust up to 25 kts. Southwest winds pick
up again through the Delta by 19Z Monday with gusts 15 to 20 kts.
