.Synopsis...
Dry and warm weather continues this week with well above normal
high temperatures with Moderate HeatRisk late week across
portions of the Central Valley. A pattern change to cooler and
unsettled weather is expected early next week.

.Key Messages...

* Today:
  -Breezy north winds will linger into early this evening in the
   Central Valley. Breezy onshore winds develop this evening
   through tonight in the Delta and spreading into the Sacramento
   metro area.

* Wednesday - Late Week:
 -Periodically breezy onshore winds.
 -Dry and warm weather with above normal temperatures under upper level
  ridging.
 -Areas of Moderate HeatRisk across the Central Valley Friday-
  Saturday. Probability of high temperatures 90 degrees F or
  higher: 55-95% across the Central Valley Friday-Saturday.

.Changes from previous forecast...

 -Increasing confidence in pattern change to cooler weather early
  next week, with chances of mountain precipitation and slight
  chances into the Central Valley.
 -Potential (10-20%) for isolated thunderstorms Monday and
  Tuesday.

.AVIATION...
VFR conditions over interior NorCal next 24 hours. Gusty north
surface winds of 30-45 knots in the Valley and Delta through 03Z
this evening, strongest in the western Sacramento Valley and
northern Sacramento Valley. Southwest winds develop in the Delta and
Sacramento metro area after 00z, gusting up to 15 to 20 knots.
