Wind westerly 15 knots increasing to southerly 15 to 25 early this afternoon and to south 25 to 35 early this evening. Wind increasing to south 35 to 45 late overnight with gusts to 50 and becoming southeast 40 to 50 near noon Friday with gusts to 60. Wind diminishing to southwest 20 to 30 Friday evening.

Rain this afternoon tonight and Friday. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

central Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday intensifying frontal system located on a
line north-south over western Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Friday frontal system located on a line north-south
over Haida Gwaii.
