At 3:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest over Funk Island Bank. By 10:00 a.m. NDT today departing trough located east of the Marine District.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:51 AM NDT 27 July 2025 A low pressure system will track across Labrador today as it weakens into a trough. The trough is expected to sweep across the northern district tonight and Monday. Strong to gale force southwesterlies will develop south of the low today and diminish tonight as the low weakens.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Strait of Belle Isle and Northeast Gulf.
