By 9:30 a.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located over the East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday approaching low 980 mb located south
of Newfoundland.


Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:25 AM NDT 14 April 2025 A low pressure system southeast of the Maritimes will slowly track
northeastwards across the Newfoundland marine district today and
Tuesday. The low is expected to lie northeast of Belle Isle Bank by
Tuesday evening. Strong to gale force northeasterlies will develop
over southeastern waters tonight ahead of the system.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast and South Labrador Sea.
