northern Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Sunday trough located on a line north-south over
Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located on a line
north-south over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:23 AM NDT 16 August 2025 A low pressure system will track northeastward across Northern Quebec
to lie over Hudson Strait by this evening where it will stall through
Sunday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will spread slowly
eastward across the district ahead of the low then diminish under a
trough extending from the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and Northwest Labrador Sea.
