Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:50 PM AST 14 February 2026 A low pressure system will develop over Nova Scotia Sunday morning and intensify as it tracks eastward across the southern marine district later in the day. Strong to gale force gale force southerly winds are expected to develop ahead of the low with strong to gale force westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan.
