Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:44 AM AST 7 March 2026 A trough of low pressure will approach from the west today and tonight to lie over the Gulf of St. Lawrence Sunday afternoon. Winds will increase to strong to gale force southwesterlies ahead of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Banquereau northern half, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half and Anticosti - southeastern half.
