Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:43 AM NST 22 February 2025 A low pressure system northeast of the Northern Grand Banks will track away from the marine district today. Strong to gale force west to northwesterlies will diminish to moderate to strong northwesterlies today as the low moves out to sea.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and Southeastern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in effect for Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Northeast Coast, and Belle Isle Bank.
