Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:21 PM NST 6 March 2026 A trough of low pressure southeast of the East Labrador Sea will continue to track southeastward tonight. Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure will approach the marine district from the west. Strong to gale force northwesterlies over most waters between these two features will gradually diminish as the trough moves away and the ridge approaches.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in effect for all regions with open water.
