Issued 2:39 PM EDT 09 September 2026 Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts up to 40 knots and frequent lightning.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms capable of producing wind gusts up to 40 knots are expected to continue through this afternoon and perhaps into the early evening.

Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway. Consider delaying or postponing travel in areas under the Squall Watch.
