By 4:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Bowie.
At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight low located off Tofino.
By 1:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday dissipating low located over southern
Explorer.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:10 PM PDT 20 April 2026 A ridge of high pressure will build over the northern waters tonight.
Strong to gale force northerly winds will continue to strengthen over
the central waters tonight. These gales will spread into southern
waters Tuesday night.
Gale force westerly winds will also develop over Central and Eastern
Juan de Fuca Strait Tuesday evening.
