Issued 4:00 PM PDT 15 September 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
Vancouver Island.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday ridge located over BC interior.
At 4:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary frontal system located
over Haida Gwaii.
At 2:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday deepening frontal system located west of
the offshore waters.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday building frontal system located over
Haida Gwaii.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:50 PM PDT 15 September 2025 A frontal system has stalled over Haida Gwaii. This system is giving
southeasterly gales over Hecate Strait and East Dixon. These
southeasterly gales will persist through this evening before easing
to southerly strong late overnight.
Another frontal system is building west of Bowie tonight. It will
move into Bowie and North Explorer early Tuesday morning. Ahead of
the system, southeasterly storm force winds will move into
Bowie and North Explorer. The system moves northeasterly into North
Bowie through the day Tuesday where southerly storm force winds will
persist.
