Wind northwest 10 to 20 knots diminishing to light early this morning then increasing to southeast 15 to 25 early this afternoon. Wind increasing to southeast 25 to 35 early this evening then diminishing to southeast 15 to 25 near midnight. Wind diminishing to southeast 10 to 15 near noon Monday and to light Monday evening.

Rain beginning late this morning.

the North Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low 982 mb located west of Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight low 983 mb located over Bowie.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Monday ridge located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Monday ridge located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:05 AM PDT 24 May 2026 A 982 MB low will approach Bowie this morning. The system will
produce gale to storm force southeasterly winds over parts of
northern and central waters, as well as Northern Vancouver Island
tonight and into Monday morning.

A ridge of high pressure will build in the wake of the low producing
gale force northerly winds over the offshore waters on Monday.
