At 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday trough located from Georges Bank to
Banquereau.
At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing ridge located from the Gulf of
St. Lawrence to the Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:44 PM ADT 31 March 2026 A trough of low pressure lying from the Gulf of Maine to Laurentian
Fan will meander tonight and Wednesday to lie from Georges Bank to
Banquereau Wednesday evening. Strong to gale force southwesterlies
are expected south of the trough with moderate to strong
northeasterlies north of it.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope and East Scotian Slope.
