Issued 3:00 AM ADT 25 March 2026 Today Tonight and Thursday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today trough located over the St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from Newfoundland to Cape
Breton Island.
At 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday approaching low 1000 mb located over
southwestern Quebec.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:40 AM ADT 25 March 2026 A trough of low pressure will move across marine waters today. Strong
southerly winds ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force northwesterlies over northern waters behind it.
Overnight Thursday there is another low pressure system approaching
the marine district from Southwestern Quebec. As this low progresses
eastward, gale force southerlies are forecast to develop.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
regions except Fundy, Grand Manan, Northumberland Strait, Gulf -
Magdalen - western half, Chaleur-Miscou.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou, and Anticosti.
