the western Gulf of Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough located from the Gaspe Peninsula to
Laurentian Fan.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Saturday ridge located over West Scotian Slope.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:44 AM ADT 1 May 2026 A trough of low pressure over Western New Brunswick will slowly cross
the district today and Saturday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies
ahead of the trough will diminish to moderate to strong westerlies in
its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half and Anticosti - southwestern half.
