By 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday trough located from Anticosti Island to
West Scotian Slope.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:14 PM ADT 6 May 2026 A trough of low pressure over New England will slowly track across
the Maritimes on Thursday to lie on a line from Anticosti to West
Scotian Slope Thursday night. Across the district strong to gale
force southerly will diminish in the wake of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen - eastern half and Anticosti - eastern half.
