Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:18 PM PST 6 March 2026 An approaching frontal system will track across Haida Gwaii and move
onshore Saturday. Ahead of the front, strong to gale force westerlies
will persist over the offshore waters tonight and then spread to
central and northern coastal waters Saturday morning. A brief period
of storm force westerlies are forecast to develop over the extreme
northern waters near midday on Saturday.
