Wind southerly 30 to 40 knots except northeasterly outflow near Portland Inlet. Wind becoming south 30 to 40 early this morning then increasing to southeast 45 to 55 near noon. Wind diminishing to southwest 10 to 20 near midnight then increasing to southwest 20 to 30 Monday morning. Wind becoming southwest 25 to 35 Monday afternoon then increasing to southwest 35 to 45 Monday evening.

Showers changing to rain this afternoon then to scattered showers overnight. Visibility 1 mile or less in precipitation.

By 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today low 982 mb located over northwestern
Explorer.

At 10:00 p.m. PST tonight warm front from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Central Coast.
By 10:00 a.m. PST Monday cold front located west of Vancouver
Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PST Monday approaching low 983 mb located west
of Bowie.


Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:36 AM PST 14 December 2025 A trough brings gale to storm force southwesterly winds to northern
and central waters this morning.

An intensifying frontal system offshore moves eastward over the
marine regions today. Ahead of the system, gale to storm force
southeasterly winds are expected, while gale to storm force
southwesterly winds will develop in its wake.

On Monday, this system will move southeastward across the southern
waters with southerly gales ahead of the front and strong to gale
force westerly winds in behind.

The active weather pattern continues as another low approaches Bowie
Monday afternoon spreading gale to storm force southwesterly over the
northern waters.
