to Banquereau.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Tuesday ridge located from New Brunswick to East
Scotian Slope.
At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight quasi-stationary low located southwest
of the Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:05 PM ADT 13 October 2025 A low pressure system southwest of the marine district will remain
nearly stationary and continue to weaken as a ridge of high pressure
over the central marine district moves slowly southward. Strong to
gale force easterlies over southwestern waters will diminish this
evening.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank, and West Scotian Slope - southwestern
half.
Outlook for the start-up of the Upper Bay of Fundy lobster fishery.
Tonight...Northeast 15 knots.
Tuesday...Northeasterly 10 to 15 diminishing to light by the
afternoon.
Wednesday...Winds light increasing to north 15 to 20 knots late in
the day.
