Areas Affected: Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties - Greater Reno-Carson City-Minden Area - Western Nevada Basin and Range including Pyramid Lake - Northern Washoe County
 
Alert Details:
* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in freezing fog.

* WHERE...In California, Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra
Counties. In Nevada, Northern Washoe County, Western Nevada Basin
and Range including Pyramid Lake, and Greater Reno-Carson
City-Minden Area.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM PST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,
especially along Highway 447 from Pyramid Lake to Gerlach, Highway
395 through the Honey Lake Valley from the CA-NV state line to
Susanville, and Highways 36 and 44 around Susanville. Roads may
also be slick.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of freezing fog may expand into parts
of the Reno-Sparks vicinity and from Pyramid Lake southward to
Fernley by early Tuesday morning, with the highest potential for
fog in these areas between 4 and 10 AM.

If driving through foggy areas, slow down, use your headlights, and
leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
