Alert Details:
* WHAT...Temperatures 93 to 100 expected for the valleys and
mountains. Temperatures up to 106 expected for the Inland Empire.

* WHERE...Orange County Inland Areas, San Bernardino and Riverside
County Valleys-The Inland Empire, San Diego County Valleys, and
Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Monday to 6 PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

Information:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.


Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.

Alert Details:
* WHAT...Elevated surf of 3 to 6 feet with sets to 7 feet along
Orange County beaches. Strong longshore currents and surf 3 to
5 feet along San Diego County beaches.

* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County
Coastal Areas.

* WHEN...Through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong rip currents for all beaches will create
hazardous swimming conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The elevated surf is driven by a
southerly swell (190 degrees) at 3 feet with a period of 16-18
seconds. Both swell and surf will begin to gradually lower
Tuesday.

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
