Ridge winds gusting up to 60 mph. * WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area. * WHEN...Until 11 AM PDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially through mountain passes such as Donner Pass, Echo Summit, Carson Pass, and Ebbetts Pass. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snowfall is expected Tuesday morning through late afternoon with snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour at times.
