NEVADA...

* CHANGES...None.

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zone 270 Surprise Valley
California, Fire Weather Zone 278 Eastern Lassen County, Fire
Weather Zone 458 Northern Washoe County, including the S-1
Vya Fire.

* Winds...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 30 to 40 mph.
Ridgetop gusts up to 45 mph. Winds shift to westerly in the
late afternoon and evening.

* Humidity...RH reductions to 12 to 17 percent in the
afternoon. Nighttime recoveries of 50 to 80 percent Wednesday
morning.

* Duration...3 to 6 hours.

* Impacts...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can
cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity before first
responders can contain them.

heights up to 3 feet on Lake Tahoe and Pyramid Lake.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area, Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern
Sierra Counties, Greater Reno-Carson City-Minden Area, and Western
Nevada Basin and Range including: Lake Tahoe, Pyramid Lake, Eagle
Lake, Honey Lake, Lake Davis, Frenchman Lake, Stampede Reservoir,
Donner Lake, Prosser and Boca Reservoirs, Washoe Lake, and Topaz
Lake.

* WHEN...From 11 AM to 8 PM PDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create
hazardous conditions for small craft.

Information:
Check lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a sudden
increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing boating
activities on the lake until a day with less wind.
